V Koreji nedílná součást tamní společnosti, zbytek světa asi trošku nechápe, o co jde. Dnes se Vám pokusím vysvětlit, co tento pojem znamená.
In Korea integral part of local society, rest of the world maybe don´t understand a bit what´s going on. Today I will try explain You what this concept means.

Květinový muž ( uugh, v češtině to zní tak...gaysky?! ) - korejsky Kkonminam (volněji přeloženo na "hezký muž") je muž, který se umí skvěle oblékat a nebojí se použít make-up. Jejich vzorem jsou herci, modelové a k-pop zpěváci, kteří samozřejmě mají bezchybnou pleť a perfektní módní vkus.
Flower boy ( belive me, it sounds really gayish in Czech :/ ) - Korean Kkonminam ( loosely translate is "handsome man" ) is a man who knows how to dress great and they aren´t affraid to use make-up. Their ideals are actors, models and k-pop singers who of course have got flawless skin and perfect sense of fashion.

Na ČT24 před nějakým časem na toto téma vysílali reportáž, která mě dost zaujmula.
Koreans think quite logically - look is one of a main keys to the successful life. And to look better they use make-up and other cosmetic products everyday. With ubiquitous commercials full of perfect korean celebrities is impossible don´t wish to look at least a little as them.
"ČT24" ( it´s a main news TV in Czech Republic ) was broadcast a reportage on this topic some time ago and it very impressed me.
Minulý rok utratilo 19 milionů jihokorejců za pánskou kosmetiku přes půl miliardy dolarů a to je celá pětina světového prodeje. Největší jihokorejská kosmetická společnost Amorepacific vydělala loni o 900 milionů USD více! Rozmáhá se i plastická chirurgie. Podle odborníkŮ to vůbec není dobré. Korejci se podle nich až moc spoléhají na vzhled a ne na své vlastní schopnosti.
19 milions South Koreans spent over half billion USD last year and thats whole one fifth of world sale. Biggest South Korean cosmetic company "Amorepacific" earned about 900 millions USD more than last year! Big boom has got a plastic surgery too. According to experts, this situation isn´t good. They says Koreans depends on visage more than on their abilities.

Na druhé straně kosmetika zvyšuje sebevědomí. Samozřejmě že nic se nesmí přehánět. Dámy, přiznejme si to, která z Vás by mezi lidi vyšla úplně nenalíčená? A je něco špatně na tom, že stejně to můžou cítit i muži?
On the other hand cosmetics increase self-confidence. Sure, everything with an extent. Ladies, we must confess, who from us will go between people totally without make-up? And what´s wrong that men can feel this just as we?
